Fast & Fur-ious: Florida Man Arrested in Dalmatian Onesie After High-Speed Chase

Florida Man Dalmatian Onesie (Florida Highway Patrol)

After leading Florida Highway Patrol on a wild police chase, crashing his truck, and somehow escaping, 36-year-old Keith Devereaux was arrested the next day—while rocking a Dalmatian onesie.

It all went down just after midnight on January 27th in Pasco County when Devereaux was allegedly driving like a maniac. According to FHP, he was stopping abruptly and then gunning it while dropping off a passenger. When troopers tried to pull him over, he hit the gas, leading them on a high-speed chase that ended with him slamming his truck into a tree.

But he wasn’t done yet. Devereaux tried to get away on foot, and when troopers hit him with a taser, he fought them off. Even after they zapped him a second time, he still managed to break free—this time with one handcuff dangling from his wrist—before vanishing into the woods.

A police K-9 unit was called in and quickly tracked him to his girlfriend’s house. When troopers arrived, his girlfriend admitted she had drugs in the home and straight-up told them she didn’t want to get arrested. Instead of busting in right away, authorities left, got an arrest warrant, and returned the next morning.

When officers showed up the next day, Devereaux was finally taken into custody— wearing that Dalmatian onesie. He’s now facing a laundry list of charges, including reckless driving, fleeing law enforcement, resisting arrest with violence, assaulting an officer, and possession of meth.
